We have stayed in a variety of Jane’s apartments in Southsea over the years and this is a favourite . Large, week equipped and so central for walking to the seafront, shopping and restaurants and bars. And a great view ! Always so easy to deal with and accommodating I have already made recommendations to others - we will be back

We have been coming down to Southsea in Jane’s apartments for the last 5 years and Once again we have had a fabulous holiday at Southsea last minute decision to go and Jane was above and beyond in accommodating us in flat 1 at St Helens and it was just like being at home what a wonderful apartment spacious and cosy and right near the seafront and down the road from the shops couldn’t of asked for more from Jane what a pleasure it was we all enjoy our week and can’t wait to return again next year

This was our 2nd time staying in the garden flat but 3rd time staying in the building( 1st was on the first floor) we absolutely love this flat,it's perfect,has everything you want and need. Is always super tidy and neet when you arrive and any "problems" resolved quickly. Always a lovley little filled basket with goodies in when you arrive that makes a super first impression.
Plenty of space,we're a family of 6,3 teens and a 10 year old and with two bathrooms and toilets it's ideal. It's so close to the beach and roughly 10,15 minutes walk to the town,plenty of food options,but all you need in the flat if you want to cook ha ha . Plenty of places to visit near by ,either by car or like us,we love to walk them. We can not wait to book for next year. Southsea and the garden flat has our hearts Gem Rich and family

Just home from an amazing6 day stay at the garden flat. This was our 2nd time in the garden flat but 3rd time in the building( first time was on the first floor, just as amazing) We're a family of 6,3 teens and a 10 year old and with plenty of space,two bathrooms and two toilets and a big garden, it's perfect. Its always clean,tidy and neet when you arrive and the welcome basket full of goodies is the perfect start to the holiday. Kids love an iced tea 😀 Any "problems " resolved quickly with no job to difficult. The beach is so close, we grab our paddle bords and off we go for the day. The town is only 10,15 minutes walk away too. You have all you need on your door step, plenty of places to eat or all you need in the flat if you wish to cook ha!ha! With a co-op just around the corner. We can not wait to book for next year. Southsea and the garden flat has our hearts. Gem Rich and family x

Our garden flat at St Helen’s House Southsea was ideal for location and was equipped with everything you could ever wish for. Very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean & well maintained.
Full marks to all the team for making our stay so memorable. Very apt name for the company Home from Home will definitely recommend to all friends & family.
Hopefully will use again if available.

Just home from an amazing week in southsea. The garden flat Is perfect for dogs and humans alike. The gift baskets when you arrive is a lovely touch too and even one for kia the dog.
The flat itself is gorgeously decorated and spacious enough for us all and having the garden was lovely to sit in during the afternoon to relax. Nothing is too much trouble for the team either.
Just the best place to stay. All booked for next year already.

This is a lovely, well equipped property in a very convenient location. It is in the heart of Southsea, close to all attractions and also an easy walking distance from Gunwharf Quays. We were a party of 5 and found the apartment to be extremely spacious and comfortable. The host provided a generous welcome pack and the range of children's games were also well received! We were lucky enough to have wall to wall sunshine during our stay and the views over Southsea Common and the sea were amazing! Would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay again in the future.

THIS WAS A WONDERFUL STAY IN THIS GORGEOUS APARTMENT. IT WAS IMMACULATELY CLEAN, COMFORTABLE & WARM IN A GREAT LOCATION RIGHT ON THE PROMENADE & SO CLOSE TO ALL THE ATTRACTIONS SOUTHSEA AND PORTSMOUTH HAD TO OFFER. IT WAS BRILLIANT TO WATCH ALL THE FERRIES & SHIPS OUT IN THE SOLENT AND TO BE ABLE TO WALK EVERY DAY ALONG THE PROM. THERE WAS A DEDICATED PARKING PLACE BUT THERE WERE ALSO BUS STOPS VERY CLOSE BY WHICH ALL WENT TO GUNWHARF QUAYS & THROUGH SOUTHSEA WHICH WAS VERY CONVENIENT. THANK YOU JANE FOR ALL THE INFORMATION & ASSISTANCE BOTH PRIOR TO ARRIVAL & DURING OUR STAY. WE FULLY INTEND TO RETURN AGAIN AS WE ENJOYED OUR TIME THERE SO MUCH.

Had a fabulous weekend with friends staying in this lovely apartment . The location is perfect for exploring all Southsea and Old Portsmouth has to offer . The accommodation is such good value and spacious and well equipped for large groups . I have stayed here before with family and at other properties Jane hosts . She is always so easy to deal with and reliable . I would always recommend .

Just come home from a fantastic week's break at this apartment,i stayed with my family of 6 and it was very spacious, beautifully decorated and made even more special having the garden space. We've stayed at St helens before but on the second floor which is still just as lovely,but will be heading back next year for the garden apartment. Its in walking distance to the town, beach and local shops and restaurants. Highly recommended place to stay xx

I just don't know were to start when I say how much my family and I enjoyed out recent holiday at Southsea.
The Queens Gate apartment is perfect in every way. From the spacious living room area with 3 couches, one that is directly in front of the large bay window. The views from the bay window are breath taking. There is so much to see from that window which has direct view of Southsea Common and the Sea.
The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are great assets for families and couples.
Jane is an amazing host. Nothing is a problem. As soon as you need her she will sort everything out.
Would I recommend staying at Queens Gate........... that is a big definite YES! This is my 4th stay at Queens Gate now and I never get bored of staying there. Me and my family only returned yesterday and we are already looking at dates for next year.

What a beautiful apartment. Everything we could need for a relaxed stay. Well equipped and spotlessly clean.
Close enough to all the amenities with two good pubs at the end of the street - so no cooking for me.

We have just returned from your beautiful apartment in Southsea. We rented flat 3 and two , both flats were beautifully furnished and had everything we could have wanted , a real home from home .
The welcome basket was a lovely gesture , thank you .
The flats are just a few mins walk from the seafront and close to amenities.
We hope to return to Southsea and would happily stay here again .

Stayed recently at Queensgate and found the accommodation exactly as described on the website.
The accomodation is spacious light and airy and the views over the Solent are spectacular. the apartment is large and benefits from two bathrooms. The configuration of the 3 bedrooms suited us perfectly as a 3 generation family.
it is very close to the bus stops and to the shopping centre in Southsea as well as to the attractions of Old Portsmouth.

Love the location of this really spacious accommodation.
Really well placed to enjoy the bars and restaurants in Palmerston Road as well as wonderful walks along the promenade. It was really useful to have a parking space.
The apartment was very well furnished and kitted out and we had a very enjoyable stay.

We had a very enjoyable 2 month stay in the top floor 3 bed flat in St Helen's House Ja/Feb 2022. The flat was very well fitted out and had everything we needed. Jane was a very helpful and responsive host and looked after us very well. Any minor defects were fixed immediately. I was working from the flat during the day whilst Amy worked in Portsmouth, which worked out perfectly for us. The wifi was great and there were no distractons through the day. The parking space was very useful as parking in the area can be very limited and few other rentals offer this.
The flat and location is also ideal for dogs, with long walks on the beach or on the large common area.
Strongly recommend this accomodation and hope we will be back.

We stayed in St Helens Garden Flat from 15-18 December with our dog. What a gem of a place. Great location as centrally located and minutes from South Parade and the beach. Lovely furnishings and fittings, equipped to a high standard with everything you'd expect. The outside space would be lovely in the warmer months. Communication with Jane was smooth and efficient. I only have positive things to say! We hope to be back.

Our second stay at St Helens Garden Flat. The flat is cosy and very homely. The garden area is very private and an extra bonus. The car parking space is a brilliant feature.

We have booked Jane's flat the last year and once again this year and we have had a fantastic stay in this lovely flat. Location is perfect. The flat is big enough to welcome a family. The seaview is relaxing and the kids loved watching ferries and ships through the bow-window. A few minutes walking from Southsea, Cascade and Pier. We also walked to Gunwharf quays. Kids friendly apartment. Jo and Jane were also perfect hosts. We'll come back!

Fantastic accommodation
We have just spent a week in this property and I cannot rate it highly enough. It was spotlessly clean, and well maintained. There was everything you needed for your stay. It is in an excellent location well within easy walking distance of shops, museums, beach etc. There is a very good bus service about a minutes walk away which goes down to Historic Portsmouth / Gunwharf Quays. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, clean apartment and modern interior
Like the title says, I cant say enough about this Seaview apartment...I went with my family and small kids where it was like staying at home with all your needs covered, down to the Wifi working, milk butter and bread in the fridge.
Would recommend this to all ages... also the beach is across the road.
